IMPORTANT UPDATE ON THE OAKLAND PANTHERS SEASON

We are determined in our support of public health, and the safety of our fans, players, and staff remains our top priority. After consultation with the Indoor Football League, the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Authority, the city of Oakland and Alameda County, the Oakland Panthers’ season will be postponed following Saturday’s 6:05 Game vs Iowa until further notice. The March 21 game vs. Duke City and the March 28 game vs Arizona have been canceled.

The opening game will still be televised live on the KBCW 44/Cable 12 and broadcast live on KNBR 1050. When games resume, all home games will be televised on KBCW 44/Cable 12 and all games, home and away, will be broadcast on KNBR 1050.

The Oakland Panthers will refund all opening night tickets and parking passes. Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will automatically receive a refund. If you purchased tickets through the Oakland Arena Box Office, please return the tickets in-person to receive a full refund along with the original form of payment.

Though we enter an almost unprecedented period of uncertainty in sports history, our team, our community and our fans will come out of it stronger than ever. Oakland is still Oakland. The Bay is still the Bay. The world is dealing with a crisis, and we owe it to our community to take responsible actions. We, as an organization, must take the necessary steps to contribute to the global fight against COVID-19. We know that this postponement is disappointing to many fans, players, coaches, but we will be back as soon as it is responsible. We have been deeply touched by all the positive support the Panthers have received from the Oakland community, and we are unwavering in our mission to keep professional football in Oakland.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support during this time.

We. Hit. Different.
